Our most recent Bugfix Weekend produced a plethora of Genuan fixes and updates:

A new coin, the Genuan vingt-cent, has been introduced.

City guards will no longer charge you with a new count of the crime of "Attacking a loyal Genuan city guard" if it was them who started the fight.

Moreover, city guards will no longer attack you for being a criminal if you're in the middle of a recently-started graffiti-cleaning job. Specifically, your job must have started less than half an hour ago, you mus...

I have fixed a bug that caused some players to be locked out of some of the quests in Bois for much longer than was intended.

I have also reset the lockouts for all players for these quests to let those of you who were already affected start these quests.

The Ettouferie of Luc Chanceux is now open on Yaga Crescent in Genua, offering custom-made string ties of all descriptions. Mano Rossarians in particular will find his services of interest.

Goaded on by this competition, Monsieur Gabbiani has increased his fabric options to include a couple of locally-themed leathers; though unlike Luc, he continues to offer his services to members of the Mano Rossa only.

Some more updates for the Genua trainable pets:

- They now do an emote (about wanting to go on an adventure) when they send a follow request to someone. This should make it easier for their owners to see what's going on and hence to praise or punish them as preferred.

- The monkeys can now be trained to "equip" and "unequip", thus allowing them to wear and remove human clothing as well as pet clothing. (This was kinda-sorta implemented already, but wasn't working properly.) You can still simpl...

Several changes have been made to the Genua trainable pets:

- They can no longer be put into backpacks, vaults, etc.

- They can no longer be picked up by anyone other than their owner.

- They now show an indication of their mood when you look at them.

- They now respond to many more souls than they used to.

- They no longer consider the splash ritual to be a punishment unless it's performed on them specifically.

- They no longer require you to omit punctuation for them to understand a command (e...

The package delivery jobs available in Genua harbour now have a wider and hopefully less frustrating range of possible targets. (In particular, frequently-killed casino employees and wandering unscryable preachers are absolutely no longer allowed on the list.) The XP and money rewards have also been slightly increased, and the lockout time before you can take on another job has been decreased.

Two previously non-crackable safes in Genua are now crackable. Please note that the NPCs in these rooms are not just there for decoration.

Relatedly, the guards in Genua harbour who carry iron chains are now a bit more aware of the most effective way to use them. If you had been relying on their previous (buggy) behaviour, you may now find them harder to kill.

Those whose memory fails them on occasion will be pleased to know that the functionality of the history commands "htell" and "hsoul" has been extended:

* hsoul now also includes emotes, and has an option to filter only player souls

* a new command hsay captures all says, saytos, whispers and so on

* a new command hcomm combines the communication from htell, hsoul and hsay

Enjoy!
