Description
During your travels around the Discworld, you will find yourself discovering hidden cellars below the city, exorcising demons or travelling the world to deliver a particularly stubborn parcel. With some luck, you may even find some riches in the process...
Of course, nothing comes for free in this day and age, so there are certain trials that one must pass in order to find the glass slipper that fits the toad, or the kiss that turns the prince into a mouse.
These tribulations are puzzles worked into the game that very often reward the questor with special items, money or experience points. Of course, completing these quests also gives you a certain amount of fame within the Discworld community.
A number of quests centre around finding items and returning them to NPCs - Non-Player Characters, another word for the "monsters" that populate the game. Others involve figuring out how to get somewhere, or how to do a particular thing.
Finding a quest often means looking beyond the scope of the room description, delving further into the room and seeing more than what appears to be on the surface. For example, if a room description mentions a table, you might want to type "look table", for more information about the table and what is lying on it.
There are quite literally hundreds and hundreds of quests to be found around the entire Discworld. You can see which quests you have completed by typing "score quests".
A list with all available quests, as well as hints and full solutions, can be found on the Discworld website. An important rule, however, is not to discuss quests with people who may not want to hear spoilers - therefore, you shouldn't discuss quest solutions on public channels.
