string process_string(string)
Checks a string for the below occurences and replaces: Fixes a call to a named function if the value is of the form: '**function[:filename][|arg|arg]**', where filename and arguments are optional and * should be @. Note that process_string does not recurse over returned replacement values. If a function returns another function description, that description will not be replaced.
It calls the function 'function' in the current object or the object specified by 'filename' and replaces the bits between the @@'s with the return value. If the return value is not a string no replacement will be done, so you will end up with a very silly looking string :)
Returns a string containing the result of all replacements.
