This Bugfix Weekend saw many fixes and updates to the Counterweight Continent (and beyond). Below are some of the more notable changes:
* Obi Wan Kimono and his custom kimonos have had a bit of a refresh. Firstly, Obi Wan himself now works like other custom vendors; that is, you now interact with him via "say" instead of getting put into a special input state, and your kimono will now take time to prepare instead of being ready instantly. Secondly, linen kimonos will now provide some degree of cooling. Finally, you now have the option to have a traditional family crest on your kimono.
* Rickshaws and their drivers have also undergone renovation, and now should work rather better than before. In particular, the drivers have all been sent on an extensive education programme to teach them the concept of diagonal directions, and so they will no longer stand around like lemons when you tell them, for example, "go to northwest".
* Firecrackers have been standardised across the disc in terms of weight, spelling and effects. The only exceptions are the larger versions sold in Frank Gnaby's shop in AM, which are listed and labelled appropriately. Those wishing to use firecrackers as magical components are warned that cheap, dud firecrackers will no longer be suitable for this purpose
* The expiry date on Bes Pelargic arms permits should now take your local timezone into account if you have set it. If you haven't set your timezone and you would like to, see "syntax time".
* "Jiann" can now refer to multiple jiann, such as "get 3 jiann". Keep this in mind and be sure to specify how many jiann you are referring to.
* Fans from the fan shop in Bes Pelargic can now be used to "snap", "wave", "tap" and "flirt" like the ones from Sto Lat.
* Bamboo necklace GP lights no longer think they are both clothes and jewellery (they are now just jewellery)
* The Pink Fish Doll from the stationary shop is now recognised by Fish as being suitably Fishy for the purposes of performing the totem ritual.
* Oysters now have much more sensible attack messages.
* After reports of 22lb seagulls flying around and placing a severe strain on the disc's reality field, the offending seabirds have been made to weigh considerably less.
*The peacocks in Hong Garden have resolved a long-standing identity crisis and their corpses will now yield peacock feathers rather than generic "bird feathers".
* Sum Flying Duck will now allow prospective customers to request both a colour and a type of matting (tatami or sea grass) rather than just a colour of tatami mat.
* Ome Outlaws will no longer try to warcry dead players.
* Hengeyokai are now on the more evil side of the alignment spectrum than they were before, most likely due to all that misanthropy and disease-spreading.
* Sacrificial animals in Ephebe now have an additional syntax of 'lead stop' in addition to the existing 'unlead'. The latter had eluded some players in their games of "guess the syntax", whereas the new one will show up when using "syntax lead".
* Ordering clothes from Mrs Cosmopilite now offers a choice of the adjective "skin-tight", rather than "skintight". This should be of particular benefit to those who are trying to cater to Gapp's fickle preferences.
* The Fang family bathroom now has a proper bath.
* Fang members can no longer forge indulgences for '0'.
* Lord McSweeney now has his own robe, rather than wearing a House Guard uniform.
* The McSweeney tea cabinet is no longer empty.
* Calligraphy brushes from Bes Pelargic can no longer be used to paint with when they haven't been dipped in ink. The description of these brushes now includes a line that describes what, if any, ink they have been dipped in.
