The hedge wizards of Skund Forest have been hard at work over the last few months and have finally finished renovating their dilapidated gathering point northeast of Pekan Ford.

Some disparate pieces of knowledge have been gathered into one place - a rarity for these nomadic sorts, but a boon for wizardry as a whole. This past weekend, many bug fixes, improvements and alterations were made to the Thieves Guild (and more). Here are some of the most noteworthy changes:

*Several previously-runtiming rooms relating to the Thieves' Guild punishment system have been fixed to no longer runtime. If you have been relying on this issue to avoid being thrown into a pit for being naughty, please be aware that this strategy will no longer work.

There are new thresholds for the number of votes that assassin specialisation leaders must gain in their elections in order to receive some or all of their powers. Previously the powers were split at 5, 8, 10 and 15 votes; we have now collapsed these into two categories which are gained at 5 and 8 votes respectively (note that 5 votes are required to be elected in the first place).

This month's Bugfix Weekend was focused on warriors, but we also have a few little faith-related treats.

The alignment-based messages that are shown to a person who actively leaves a deity's passage room are now also shown to the people following that person. (These messages have no actual effect - they're just for flavour.)

In the spirit of Hogswatch, the Gods of the Discworld have done the unthinkable and actually agreed on something:

It has been decided that Priests and Followers who stray out of their God's preferred alignment will no longer immediately lose access to all their rituals. Instead, a hefty penalty will be applied to the difficulty, effectiveness and GP cost of the ritual that will become more severe the further the individual strays from their God's dictated alignment.

A number of additions, improvements and bug fixes have been made throughout the Ankh-Morpork Guild of Thieves and beyond. Below is a list of the most noteworthy changes.

Commands:

- A bug in backstab has been fixed. Previously, if you tried to backstab while your inventory was still regenerating, the attempt would go through but you wouldn't get any attacks. Now the attempt is prevented entirely, so you don't lose GP for no reason.

The cellar scriptorium of the Temple of Gapp in Genua is now accessible. Guillaume Bindere works there, and he would prefer that you not bother him so that he can finish his novel in peace. However, please do feel free to bother him by getting him to make custom prayer books for you, because quite frankly the Disc can wait a bit longer for his novel.
