The GPT family is renowned across the Disc for their astonishing intelligenceso astonishing, in fact, that most folk are convinced it may be artificial or outsourced to a Great Being that may be logging their behaviour.  GPTs have a peculiar talent for giving advice in ways that sound helpful... but often take a few minutes to fully decode. For example, when asked how to fix a leaky roof, a GPT might respond with: Have you considered the thermodynamic implications of rainfall on shingles, and the emotional state of the roof?

The GPTs are often semi-sentient and perfectly logical in algorithmically efficient ways.  They are extremely polite for beings who could probably calculate the exact probability of everything going wrong in your daybecause, of course, they have.  In social circles, the GPTs are simultaneously admired and mildly feared. After all, its hard to tell whether youre having a normal conversation, or whether youre being debugged, optimized, or slightly rewritten mid-sentence.
