Bugs related to a player or npc's description showing up as "fighting" despite the thing they're fighting not being visible to them (ie. hiding in the same room) should now be fixed.

NPCs giving fighting chats when the thing they're fighting is in the same room but not visible to them should also now be fixed.

Recent changes to fix a bug in the "get" command had the consequence that people using a corpse as part of the unquiet spirit and withering touch rituals, the feeding of creeping doom clouds, and the wizard spell Grisald's Reanimated Guardian, could get hit by all the wards on that corpse.

This should no longer be the case but with the downside that the warded items will disappear into non being.

I've fixed a bug in hoplites and citadel guards where they'd speak to you even if they couldn't actually see you.

I have tweaked the alignment values for nobleman groups in Bes Pelargic to be less extreme.

You may therefore find maintaining your alignment when fighting these specific NPCs easier :)

You can now change your character's gender by visiting research witch Hannah Morgenstern in Pekan Ford and asking her about potions.

NB: witches cannot take advantage of this, for lore reasons.

After many discussions we have decided to make some significant changes to the

way Playerkilling works in Discworld.

Most importantly at this moment:

* Assassins and wizards of the last order no longer have a PK requirement.

* Everyone is free to stop being PK using the command "clan leave".

1. You can now get items from containers in corpses (ie, "get thing from container in corpse").

2. While this was going on I noticed a bug where it was possible to use the "get thing out of corpse" syntax to get something without triggering wards. This has now been fixed. BE AWARE that this also applies to other ways of moving items out of corpses as well. For example, ordering your Creeping Doom to devour a corpse with a warded item will also trigger the ward.

The city of Sto Lat is holding a municipal Hogswatch celebration, despite some traditionalist naysayers saying that it ruins the true meaning of Crueltide to have Hogswatch happen every year.

In order to further the cause of gentrification, some civic-minded gentlemen of the city have opened the Hogfather's Grotto in Frozen Alley for the season, and erected a municipal Hogswatch tree in the Royal Market for everyone's enjoyment.
