Description
Quilting is the art of constructing patchwork quilts from blocks. Quilting blocks can be purchased in selected craft stores or torn from suitable clothing. Blocks can be cut into appliques (patterns are found at craft shops) and appliqued onto other blocks to create a pattern.
Groups of 9 or 12 blocks can be sewn together to form a finished quilt. The materials needed for quilting are: quilting blocks, a quilting needle, spools of thread, scissors and patterns.
