Name
Architects - players who write descriptions for the generic areas in Ankh-Morpork
Description
Architects are non coding creator positions. This means that you get to write descriptions for streets, rooms and NPC's and have the joy of seeing something you created end up in game without all that tedious fiddling about getting your hands dirty with nasty code. It also means that you can contribute to the game without needing to give up all the aspects of being a player that you sacrifice if you become an actual Creator.
Requirements
To become an architect, you need to apply in the Guild of Architects Meeting Room in AM, explaining why you would like to join and where your interests lie. This application will then be judged by the Creators responsible for Architects.
The main requirements for the position are a good grasp of the English language, some knowledge of Discworld and a good feel for the MUD. It is not uncommon to be asked to submit a sample description before you are formally hired as an Architect.
Practical Information
For more detailed information on joining and submitting, visit the Guild of Architects Meeting Room on Chrononhotonthologos Street. If you would rather submit a general idea, or a single, small description of an object or such, the idea command might be what you are looking for.
Also note that you don't have to be formally hired as an Architect to be able to submit descriptions at the Guild Meeting Room, you'll just miss out on the funky medal.
