corpses

Name

corpses - something that used to be a living creature, which is now not

Syntax

look corpse
take <item> from corpse
take <body part> from corpse
drag corpse <direction>
bury <corpse>
recover <item> in <corpse>
permit <player>

Description

Corpses are not the best of both worlds, as for something to become a corpse it would need to be life inhibited.

The command 'look corpse' will allow you to see what is on a corpse. This will allow you to know what you can 'take' from it, and what it previously was. Over time, bodies will decay and you'll not be able to see what (or who) it used to be.

To take a body part from a corpse, you will need a knife or dagger to cut the part out.

It is possible to bury multiple corpses at once with 'bury corpses'

You can recover items in corpses, to save for recovering the corpse itself if you know what you're after.

The permit command is to allow another player to access your corpse if you have died. This can be used in case you've died someplace you cannot get your corpse back from and need help doing so, or if you want to allow a player to take something from your corpse.

It is generally seen as a common courtesy to leave someone elses corpse alone if they've killed it, as looting someone else's corpse is seen as a rather antisocial act. It's okay to loot a corpse if you have asked the player for permission and they have said yes.
