The local witch in question just so happened to remember the details of a new spell she has been working on, and of course she was going to let Granny know just as soon as... well yes she absolutely could have popped over to Bad Ass, but it's just that with all the snow and... No of course it wasn't fair of her to make Granny come all the way here at this time of year and... Yes, here's all the details of the new spell and all the bits and bobs to try it out with. Really, though, she's very sorry about the whole thing.
The spell "Mama Adena's Burden of Responsibility" is now available to learn from both Granny Weatherwax and Aunty Ogg-San. The spell requires a cast iron loom weight as a component, which is conveniently now available in various places around the disc, including reputable ironmongers, flea markets, and several other shops that sell miscellaneous odds and ends. It also requires a variable quantity of salt, the acquisition of which is left as an exercise for the caster.

Emboldened by this new development in utensil-based magic, Grammer Scorbic has found a way to make her popular Household Guard spell even better. Floating utensils will now take somewhat less damage from blocking hits than they previously did, but it is still important to keep an eye on their condition!
