What's What!

Welcome to What's What! A web-based recognition programme for the hard work your creators put into this MUD each and every day! In here, you can find a list of your favourite (and not so favourite) creators, and a list of the projects they have been involved with that are either in playtesting (thus, all but completed), limbo (completed but not in the game for whatever reason), or in play (you've been there, done that).

The creators and projects on this page should not be considered exhaustive... this is still a work in progress. If there is a creator you'd like to know more about missing, then ask them... remember, however, that the What's What is a voluntary endeavour. Don't feel offended if they wish to bow out of it.

Have fnu!

Description of the Impossible Voyage project

The Ephebe smugglers need this cargo delivered _yesterday_, so they're hiring you (and at least two friends) to sail the SS Unsinkable, the smuggler fleet's fastest and least reliable ship, across the Circle Sea.

The SS Unsinkable is an experimental dragon-powered ship, which sadly doesn't live up to its name. To make it across, players will have to steer the ship, wrangle dragons into behaving, put out fires, swim out to repair the hull and scrape off dire seaweed, search the storerooms for supplies to do all of the above, and perhaps even fight off a sea monster if they're doing too well - all while contending against the ever-changing hostile weather of the ocean.

Delivering cargo intact earns you pieces of ambergris (the more cargo, the more ambergris, split up among the participating players), which serve as a special currency in a secret shop.

The Impossible Voyage project is currently in play.
