Description
As you become slowly more and more addicted to Discworld, you will find yourself wanting to keep in touch with people who will not be online as often, or when you are.
Discworld has a mail system that you can use at any Post Office across the lands. You can send and receive letters as well as parcels.
If a player sends you mail while you are logged in, you will be notified by way of, for example, a friendly postal frog. If you are offline, you will be notified when you next log on by way of a mail notification message.
When in a Post Office, the command "mail" by itself will drop you into a menu driven mailer interface, where you can read any mail that you may have. If you type a player's name after "mail", for example "mail skye", it will directly send the message you type to that player.
Typing "help mail" will provide a very extensive helpfile on the mailer system that Discworld uses. Read at your own peril, however, as it is more a walkthrough for sending mail once you are in a Post Office.
Parcels
Most post offices will allow you to deposit parcels as well as sending normal mail. While mail can be read from anywhere around the Discworld, parcels can only be collected at the post office where they were deposited.
You can not send money by parcel.
