AM Daily was founded by Jeanie in Ankh-Morpork

This club is for reporters and supporters of the AM Daily, one of Discworld's finest newspapers. The AM Daily is published once per every month and focuses on factual news.  Regular features include general news, reports on events and other activities, and games and puzzles.


Buying the newpaper
-------------------

The current edition of the AM Daily can be bought in a number of ways:
- From newspaper boxes in pubs (such as the Mended Drum), embassies
  and player shops. Simply "buy paper from daily box".
- From paperboys and papergirls with "buy daily from girl/boy".
- From subscriptions. Subscriptions can be purchased in the AM Daily
  office on Rime Street. When a new edition comes out it will be
  automatically deposited for you at the Ankh-Morpork Post Office.
- From newpaper boxes in player houses. These boxes are available
  for purchase in the Daily office, and can be placed like furniture
  in a player house.

Back copies can be bought downstairs in the AM Daily office for 50 pence each with the syntax "buy <edition number>".

Once a paper has been purchased, it can be read in game and via the MUD's webpages.


Working for the AM Daily
------------------------

Reporters for the AM Daily may contribute in various ways including performing interviews, conducting research, creating puzzles, attending events or voicing their opinion. Most of the work at the AM Daily is freelance work in which reporters write articles of their own choosing and are paid both in money and experience for each published article.

Advertising in the AM Daily

Members of the public can advertise in the AM Daily by submitting an advert in the editorial office which is found upstairs in the AM Daily building on Rime Street. Please see "category list" for available categories and prices and then "submit advert <category>".
