The very long sausage staff has had a bit of a revamp. It now takes damage in combat, in order to bring it in line with the MUD's weapon standards - but to balance this, it can now be fixed by dipping it into an appropriate liquid.

(Oh, and thanks to Feanor, it is also now 122% more delicious.)

The sailing leaderboard has been reset. I've also undone the xp nerf from a while ago and reduced the hp of sea monsters by about 25%.

I have changed how the identify command works. Items you identify will now only lose their identity when someone uses the identify command again or the unidentify command. This means that identities won't be lost if you give an item to a cloud, bat or horse nor if another player handles the item.

Note that other players can overwrite or unidentify items, so only hand over your precious items to people that you trust.

Also note that identifiers used to leak to other players when an item was so...

The coffee machines sold in Djelibeybi no longer inexplicably lose half their contents upon brewing. However, they are now slightly more picky about the ratio of beans to water.

In addition, you can now put milk and sugar in your coffee if you dislike it black. (Sadly sugar cubes won't work for this due to coding constraints - grind 'em up first.) Oh, and if you accidentally brew your coffee too strong, there is now a way to fix that.

I have a collection of upgrapes and interesting things for you!

* Rivings can now be sawn into shorter lengths, in units of one foot. You'll find a saw available wherever rivings are sold.

* Rivings are now region-dependent, ie. you can find different kinds of wood for sale in different areas.

* Two new woodworking pattern books have been added. You can find one in Agatea and one in Uberwald, both in shops selling woodworking supplies.

Having found a new supplier of coloured glass, Seymour Convecks of Cheesemongers Yard has expanded his range of tinted sunglasses.

(If you had an existing pair of tinted sunglasses, you may find when you next log in that their colour has changed. This was an unavoidable side-effect of the change above. If you dislike the new colour, please contact a liaison to get them set back to the colour they were before.)
