I've fixed a number of bugs and made a couple of adjustments in and around Djelibeybi. Some will have more of an impact on your day-to-day play than others, so I do suggest reading this one carefully.

- The language school textbooks should no longer have more than one word with the exact same Djelian translation, meaning players no longer have to guess which is the right word when given the translation and asked for the original word.

- Textbooks for learning the Klatchian language should...

Now that spring has well and truly sprung, your lovely creators have been hard at work weeding the garden that is the MUD codebase. The list of changes below might look small, but for each change you see here, there have been a multitude of other quiet little adjustments and fixes in response to various idea and bug reports. The changes you are likely to notice are as follows:

- A variety of climbable trees have had oddities fixed, such as properly responding to 'climb assess', and giving a ...

Borst Besensteel in Copperhead now sells broom stencils in his shop. These can be used in conjunction with a tin of paint and a small stencilling sponge[1] to apply a stencilled design to a broomstick.

Those wishing to apply a stencil to their broomstick will need a quite respectable degree of painting skill, and should be able to apply stencils to any kind of broomstick. Note that custom broomsticks can only be stencilled if they do not already feature a 'decoration' from Borst.

Important No...

Chefet, the Dog-Headed God of Metalworking, has decreed that the doors to His temple are to be thrown open to the public. Visitors to this sacred place (conveniently located off Petulia Avenue, Ephebe) are invited to witness the masterful feats of metalworking conducted in His honour and to fill the temple coffers by purchasing one of the many exquisite items crafted by His faithful. Those who wish to try their hand at creating fine works of their own are welcome to make use of the forging faci...

This weekend, your wonderful creator team sifted through a variety of bug and idea reports relating to the Witches' Guild and have made the following changes and improvements:

Brooms/Flying:

- Holding a broom when finding yourself high up in the air will now only land witches safely; everyone else can expect a hard landing.

- Attempting a disallowed command while flying on a broomstick will now inform other players in the air room of your poor choices.

- Some incorrect broom landing message...

The Warriors Guild are marching into March with a variety of bugfixes, items, weapons, achievements and more. Details of the most noteworthy changes are as follows:

- Beheads that lead to a head hitting you in the face and covering you in blood will now actually cover you in blood.

- The berserking messages about attacking thin air now take account of whether you're holding weapons and/or shields. You will also occasionally push NPCs over, just for the fun of it.

- Three new iai-related ...

The Fang family in Bes Pelargic have made a number of improvements to their counterfeiting facilities in the hope of attracting some extra revenue from their friends and associates.

There are numerous changes to how the forgery process works, the most significant of which are as follows:

- Access to the forgery facilities is no longer limited to just thieves, although you must still be a member of the Fang Family.

- The types of skills required have not changed, but the level of skill...

Stephan, the resident furrier of Mad Wolf, has finally had enough practice at working with hubland bear fur to be able to use it far more efficiently. The quantities of tanned fur he requires for trimming clothes have been reduced, and several items now require an amount of fur that is more proportional to their size.

After seeing the excitement around the recent Lunar New Year celebrations, the calligrapher on Diamond Place in Bes Pelargic has decided to start selling lucky red envelopes. Have a read of the sign in his shop for more details.

Decorative embroidery is now visible when looking at items in the inventories of other players or NPCs (please note, this does not apply to text-only embroidery, which remains unreadable in line with other written-on items).

After a thorough reprimanding from the U...

The harbourwalk and underdocks of Ephebe are known to be frequented by those who play fast and loose with the letter of the law. Recently, a pair of such individuals have reportedly gone into business - two women who have rejected the widely-held view that it is perfectly acceptable to be completely naked when swimming in the bay or walking through the streets after bathing.

These worshippers of the great God Aegadon have committed themselves to selling bespoke swimwear and a wide variety of b...
