Attention, all Hashishim! You can now inhume people by beheading with a greater variety of swords than before.

Previously, any weapon that used the fighting.melee.sword skill and had the slice command would work. This is still the case, but now also all the swords that are Hashishim cultural weapons will also work - any scimitar, shamshir, sabre, kora, or khopesh - whatever their fighting commands.

Inhuming weapons use their normal fighting.melee.* skill - eg. a kora inhumes using the sword...

Tea & The Tanuki, posted on Fri Mar 18 10:39:22 2022

I've added some new items to the list of things you can make in the Sung pottery room: a flask, a gaiwan, an incense burner, and a statue of a tanuki. This is leaning into the "British reception of Asia as a multicultural mishmash" aspect of Agatea, given that's what we've inherited from the books and previous development cycles - some of the pottery is explicitly Korean inspired, to go with the Chinese & Japanese influences we have already present.

In addition, the teacups that you can make...

Are now tieable and stick-pins-innable just like other cravats. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the code, previously existing ones won't be affected - if you want to be fashionable you'll need to order a new one, sorry!

* You can now both tie all cravats in fashionable (or unfashionable) styles, and stick cravat pins in them.

* Iconographer's vests are now available from the iconography shop on the Ridings, Ankh-Morpork, for all your iconography needs. Or at least the ones that will fit in pockets.

* You can now stare at a lava lamp and feel it reflected in your soul.

Tool Holsters, posted on Fri Dec 10 22:50:45 2021

The oiled leather thigh holsters, which would previously hold any tool, have been revamped because many tools are unrealistically large. They now look like this:

"It could sheathe a jewellers tool, drawknife, brush, file, graving tool, screwdriver or gemcutting tool."

If you previously had other things in them, and they're still there, that's normal - you just won't be able to replace them there after removing them.

Happy pre-Hogswatch, everyone! At some point during the next few days, the Rotational Association of Sto Lat will put up their Hogswatch tree and open up their shop, and it will officially be Hogswatchtide. The Chairman had this to say:

"I would like to take this opportunity to reassure everyone that the Hogswatch tree due to be placed in the Royal Market is perfectly safe so long as nobody of low and rash character does anything so flagrantly stupid as to poke it repeatedly. I repeat, DO ...
