Thank You And Goodnight, posted on Wed Jun 7 14:47:08 2023 | Posted by: Kake | Category: Special | Our recent Bugfix Weekend produced a plethora of fixes and enhancements, mostly related to playerhousing, decoration and furniture. Further details below!
* Furniture now responds to "placed furniture" and "unplaced furniture"/"displaced furniture" as appropriate. Moreover, it now responds to "all"/"thing"/"things" _if and only if_ it is unplaced; so, for example, "drop all" will now drop furniture items as well, but "get all" will continue to ignore placed furniture.
* Beds (except hammocks, ...Read The Rest Of This Entry |
Replacing Beds, posted on Sun Jun 4 17:05:52 2023 | Posted by: Pit | Category: Liaison (domain pages) | Hello all!
As part of some updates to furniture, several beds have been improved: you can now put things on them! This may prove quite useful for those of you who would like to have a pillow on their bed. :)
Unfortunately, as an unintended side effect of this change, many existing beds have become unplaced...
So, for those of you houseowners who have beds in their houses: please check in your house if the bed is still properly placed. If not, just replace it; the placement should not be lost ...Read The Rest Of This Entry |

The Regrapes Of Woodworking, posted on Fri May 19 11:22:32 2023 | Posted by: Guildenstern | Category: Special |
* Player-made wooden rings are now slightly less ridiculously durable than they were.
* Newly made Uberwaldean walking sticks are now "walking sticks" instead of just "sticks".
* You now need to be holding a saw in order to saw rivings, rather than just having it in the room. On the other hand, sawing multiple rivings at once now behaves a little better.
* Some new wood types have been added in various places wood is sold. |
Player Shop Money Changer Improvements, posted on Tue May 16 06:03:55 2023 | Posted by: Presto | Category: Special | Playershop money changers have some new features!
First, for shop owners, the 'withdraw' command now allows you to withdraw multiple denominations at once by separating them with ", " (both the comma and space are required). So for example you can "withdraw 10 crowns, 5 rhinu from changer". This has actually been available for a while, but now it's officially announced. The only catch is that for Ankh-Morpork money it's recommended to use the area name (eg "Ankh-Morpork pence" or "am dollars"...Read The Rest Of This Entry |

- Playershop greeter imps have finally learned how to speak Brindisian, Dwarfish and Klatchian. (If yours is not co-operating, please ask a liaison to update the room, or wait for the next reboot.)
- The output of the temperature command has been clarified, removing the need to wonder (or argue about) whether "a lot of warmth" is more than or less than "quite a lot of warmth".
- The weights of garlic clov...Read The Rest Of This Entry |
Making Your Mark, posted on Wed Apr 19 11:07:49 2023 | Posted by: Kadath | Category: Special | A few specific tanneries in the Sto Plains and Ramtops regions now stock leather tooling equipment. This will allow you to add text and patterns to leather items, or those made of similar enough material. Two pattern books and several loose tooling pattern sheets are available in various locations and more are expected to start appearing as additional enterprising shopkeepers look to get in on this new avenue of income. |
