Sweeping Changes, posted on Wed May 4 15:42:22 2022

Borst Besensteel in Copperhead now sells broom stencils in his shop. These can be used in conjunction with a tin of paint and a small stencilling sponge[1] to apply a stencilled design to a broomstick.

Those wishing to apply a stencil to their broomstick will need a quite respectable degree of painting skill, and should be able to apply stencils to any kind of broomstick. Note that custom broomsticks can only be stencilled if they do not already feature a 'decoration' from Borst.

Important Note: If you have not logged off or used the 'su' command since this blog was posted, you will need to do so before trying to stencil a broomstick. Failure to do so may produce Undesirable Results.

There are also several other changes and fixes, courtesy of the wonderful and industrious Kake. Please direct all fluffs for the following changes to them:

- Witches can now bury their own bat's corpse (but not other people's bats' corpses).

- Members of the Weapon Masters' Court will now become Heroic Killing Machines rather than Heroic Psychopathic Killing Machines when reaching the relevant guild level.

- Cheesewires are now available in the Little Brindisi cheese shop in Genua.

- The "browse and weigh" syntax is now available in general shops as well as item shops. Please note that this change will take time to propagate to all general shops, but the next reboot will sort it out everywhere.

Lastly, but most certainly not least, the first update from Feanor's new team of Ankh-Morpork City Architects:

Rising levels of wealth inequality in Ankh-Morpork have caused a tent city to spring up near Shambling Gate. Congratulations to Tinsch for getting their first rooms into the game!

Have fun!
