Ingredients
- 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
- 4 green onions with chives, chopped
- 1 (4 oz) pkg. slivered almonds (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds, toasted (optional)
- 1 pkg. Top Ramen noodles, broken
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 seasoning packet from Ramen noodles
Directions
Mix cabbage and green onions in airtight bowl and store. Mix
almonds, sesame seeds and noodles in a plastic baggie. Combine
oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper and seasoning paclet. When ready
to serve, mix all together in a bowl and enjoy!

Cabbage salad
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. green cabbage, shredded into 1/8 inch shreds
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup white vinegar, distilled
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup whipping cream
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Place the cabbage in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate until
well chilled. Mix sugar, vinegar, and salt in a bowl. Add to
the cabbage and toss well. Add cream and toss again. Cover
and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper
to taste.
