You can identify each individual item under a specific name (read: help identify). You can also inscribe/engrave/embroider your name on the item in specialist shops. Furthermore, there are various spells and rituals available which let you distinguish between two items. For more info on this you can ask on your talker stick or search for informative sites via the Player Link on the DW homepage.
